HAMAGANZA

I've lived in bunch of different cities in my radio career, but I will say Richmond seems to be the one with the most traditions for the holidays -- from the official lighting of the trees and buildings at the James Center, the Ukrops Christmas parade and this weekend... the most insane tradition of them all -- the 14th Annual Hamaganza celebration.

If you haven't been before, like myself, you just hear about the mix of burlesque dancers, fire jugglers, local TV & radio celebrities, politicians rockin' out with the band -- and local transvestite celeb Dirtwoman as the emcee -- and think "WTF??" But it's real. And for a great cause.

Come hang out with the us (and Angie performing!) at this year's Hamaganza show at Capital Alehouse Downtown this Saturday (12/12) at 9pm. No advance tix necessary, just bring a ham or $10 which go to the Central Virginia Food Bank.
