y101 tried the loal morning show thing called the morning sludge. it didnt go over so good in the ratings. now sludge is killing it in the afternoons. most people in the mornings wanna hear all talk. in the evening sludge has a good mix of talk and music. power pig hello

I've been hooked on Bubba's show since I first heard him on Y101 last year. Bubba has a great show, and I listen every weekday morning. I never listen to Elliot anymore.

im also a former elliott listener. i just saw the billboard on 95 last month and said with a name like bubba the love sponge i gotta give it a listen. i havent turned back to the x since. it remonds me of the old jeff and jeff days

I've just recently started listenting to Bubba, and I find him hilarious. Screw theses people that are such haters. Keep Bubba.

My opinion varies from some of these; I actually understand why the Bubba show is a hit in the Florida market, he talks Florida sports, politics, etc. I enjoy your station from 10am - 6am but I just cannot get involved in a show that is not local, real, or tangible to me at a local level!

I have been listening to bubba for a month now and I can sum up the whole month like this... News in florida (that everyone there is white trash), Hogan is... (who cares), clear channel sucks (would YOU please stop whining about them already and move on), and then some old guy tries to turn hip-hop music into funny white trash entertainment. Loop that for a month and that is what I listen to for a month. Hope I saved you some time.

Richmond going w/ Bubba instead of Sludge in the morning must be the worst mistake ever. I no longer listen in the morning. I don't care what is going on in Florida, nor do I care about his opinions. Listen to the Richmond listener's and get rid of Bubba, PLEASE.

I'm sorry, but really if you don't like Bubba..GET OVER IT! One, he is more than likely SMARTER than you will ever be. Two, he will make more money this week than you will probably make in the next 6 months IF NOT MORE. Turn the radio off if you don't like him. HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS!! GET OVER IT! Listened to Bubba one friday on Sirius/XM and started listening to the morning replay @ 3pm. Now I listen to Bubba Live on your station and Howard on replay. Thanks for the signal boost and keep up the great work. People don't realize that the cost of a local show of this caliber would be impossible.

I agree with so many of these comments... PLEASE GET A DECENT, LOCAL morning show... I will switch to this station on A FULL TIME BASIS... Your playlist is great your LOCAL personalities are great but this thing called a morning show is crap... I DONT CARE ABOUT HOGAN OR FLORIDA

I think the parody about the little girl being killed by the snake was totally inappropriate. What were you thinking? Make fun of the dumb father but not the situation. I understand that this is for comedy purposes but I feel this was crossing the line. To include portions of the 911 call?? What the hell is that? How would anyone else feel if that was their family. We really should think about what we find to be humor. I will definitely not listen to this show again.

So I listened to your whole show on the idiot who left the snake in an unlocked cage. This guy was completely retarded to have put this snake in the same "inadequate" cage once it got out the first time. THis guy also failed to have a snake permit. I give props to who ever made the snake parody. I hope listeners learn from this guys stipid acts. It was also quite humorous.. The guys complaining in the comment below who said he was going to have to drop you off his dial should. If he cannot see things for there real meaning and take a joke then he obviously needs to go listen to the disney channel or something.. Thanks guys.. Love you all. I have listened to Y101 since it started in Richmond and Charlie was the morning guy. This show has made me tune to something else for the morning drive. No originality and honestly not funny.

The problem with your radio listeners in Richmond (the south in general) is that most people here are a bunch of inbread, cornpon, watermelon eating wiggers that either want to be on Paris Hiltons reality show, to see who can kiss her ass the most or they're dying to know where Michael Jacksons final resting place is going to be. Like I said before in my last email, the only show anybody here listens to in the morning(over thirty) is Johnboy and Billy on 96.5. Last time I listened, the question of the day(your answer got you linked on to their work force, I think, and you won some Johnboy and Billy grilling sauce)was- what part of the body has the most bones? honestly I can't see what's so great about the Bubba show...maybe if he was actually in VA AND local, then I could suffer through the lame and boring blabber...I'd rather hear some music instead.

I listened to this the other day for about 5 minutes. My Intelligence was insulted. This drivel must have awful ratings. I'd rather listen to overplayed rock. Sludge & Abe were way better. I listen to silence in the morning now.

This show makes mornings suck even more than they used to.
If i wanted to waste 4 hours, listening to some fat ass bitch about the internal workings of a radio station, I would work for one. I don't care about florida, that's why I live in Richmond. I don't care about the company bubba works for, or who he used to work for. And I really don't want to waste my commute listening to everyone tell him how wonderful is.
The worst part of my day is in the morning, realizing I left my radio on y101 after listening to sludge the night before and having to hear a bunch of retards tell bubba he's right, and talk about how great he is. How the hell do you call that entertaining?
